SALAS DE ALIMENTOS Y ROPA
The Food Pantry is our most visible program. All food and clothing we distribute to our neighbors in need comes from donations by individuals, community food drives, and local businesses. The pantry supplies over 900 bags of groceries a month!

We need volunteers to assist shoppers, stock shelves and pick up food donations from local businesses. Please visit our How to Volunteer page for more information.

Non-perishable donations can be brought to the McLean Baptist Church on Wednesday and Saturdays preferably between from 11:00 AM – 12:00 noon when the pantry is less busy. Donations can be placed in the storage bins on the left side of the Church at any time. Our volunteers empty the sheds daily.
-
Please bring fresh produce donations between 8:30 -- 9:30 AM on Wednesdays and Saturdays so our clients can use them the same day.

-
For large donations, contact info@shareofmclean.org to arrange a drop off time.
-
You can also drop off non-perishable food and personal hygiene items at Redeemer Lutheran Church, located at 1545 Chain Bridge Drive in McLean, anytime. Just look for the cart labeled "Share" by door #10 on the Westmoreland side. Kindly refrain from leaving glass bottles, clothing, toys, or household items.

HOST A FOOD DRIVE
Food drives are held throughout our community in schools, offices, clubs, and stores. Some offer an incentive for donating such as tickets to an event or points towards a competition, while others simply place a box out for members to leave food in. Whether big or small, complex or simple, food drives are a great way to make a big impact at our pantry!

HOW TO HOLD YOUR OWN FOOD DRIVE (PDF)

Did you know? During the summer months, food supply is particularly low due to fewer food drives being held by volunteers. Also our families need more food in the summer as their kids are not receiving free breakfasts and lunches as they do while at school.
